Resource Planning Tool

Try BRE's new, FREE resource planning tool.

As part of a CRWP project, BRE have developed a resource planning tool to aid planners and developers with estimating waste arisings from proposed construction activity.

The tool uses benchmarks calculated from completed new build construction projects. Click here to view the latest benchmarks. The benchmarks used are volume/tonnes waste produced per 100m² floor area and volume/tonnes waste produced per £100K project value. The resource planning tool uses these benchmarks together with planned project floor areas or project values to estimate waste arisings.

The resource planning tool can be used at a micro level to estimate waste arisings from specific development projects to aid with waste management planning and with the development of Site Waste Management Plans. It can also be used at a regional or national level to help with waste management planning.
