What is T-ZERO?
T-ZERO Beta is a free decision-making tool that provides independent advice and optimal solutions for sustainable housing refurbishment.
You can use T-ZERO if you are refurbishing your own home, houses you manage, or the home of a client, and wish to reduce fuel bills and minimise your environmental impact - it can take as little as five minutes, or as long as you like. T-ZERO will take you through a series of simple steps:
- Define your home and T-ZERO will establish its fuel bill and carbon footprint
- T-ZERO will then identify optimal refurbishment packages, including insulation, heating and renewable energy measures
- Tailor your options based on your budget, desired Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, and by accessing easy-to read guidance.
- Download reports providing financial indicators and detailed advice on matters such as funding availability, installation considerations, planning permission and Building Regulations to consider for your chosen package.
- Use T-ZERO to contact the right suppliers and installers to get your measures installed
- Share your experiences of projects, products and services to create a directory of case studies of practical benefit to others
